VCO activities temporarily ‘on hold’

In recent weeks, we have been confronted with the unexpected loss of our chair, Michelle Fisser. Together with the Advisory Council, the board has decided to temporarily put the activities of the VCO ‘on hold’ for the coming period. This will give us, as an association, the space to reflect on Michelle and the impact she has had on our field.

Temporary assumption of the chairmanship
In accordance with the statutes, the board has appointed a chair from within its own members. This role will be temporarily fulfilled by Nadine van Winsen. After an appropriate period of mourning and reflection, we will begin the search for a new, permanent chair for the VCO.

Scheduled General Assembly and New Year’s event
The General Assembly and the New Year’s event planned for 15 January 2026 have been cancelled. We are exploring possibilities to come together in another way in early 2026. As soon as more information is available, we will inform you through the newsletter and our usual communication channels.
