DESIGN OF THE COMPLIANCE FUNCTION
The maturity level of the compliance function varies per sector and per organization. Triggered by contact with the AFM at the end of 2021, the Board took the initiative to set up a new Knowledge Table: on the Design of the compliance function. The Expert group focus lies amongst others on the Governance as well as the professional competence profile of the Compliance function within an organization. Indeed, there appeared to be no animosity among members; a number signed up immediately. The Expert Group kicked off in May 2022.
